Frequently asked questions
What requirements do I need to fulfil to participate in the workshops of Visionautics?
A bright mind, the desire to bring something forward, pro-activity and individual initiative as well as the willingness to break new ground and refine yourself.
To attend the workshop, does my intention/business plan/idea/mission need to be at a certain stage of development?
In terms of the summer workshop the stage of development is of no importance. It is sufficient if you are motivated, intent to create a project actively and have the willingness to consequently work it out. From where you start does not matter – there are plenty of possibilities and opportunities to further or develop your ideas.
In terms of the winter workshop we expect you to have your ideas and concepts present. Within the winter workshop we offer you to define your idea/concept more precisely and to give you guidelines on how to realise it successfully in the long run.
Are the workshops of Visionautics lessons for self-discovery/finding one’s self?
No. Our intentions are to support people who truly feel the inner urge to be part of developing a sustainable society and to help individuals who see the bigger picture. To secure a successful outcome, it is not only necessary to work a mission/idea/concept/business out but to refine and further personal attributes and capabilities – as your action can only reach as far as your mind does. Someone’s plan can be precise and thought-out but it can only be real if the right people stand up for it. Therefore, reflections/feedbacks and practices are substantial parts of Visionautics increasing your authenticity, expressiveness and self-motivation.
Which ideology/worldview stands behind the Academy of Visionautics?
The Academy of Visionautics does not take sides. We are not related or referring to any particular worldview/ideology, religion or political party. Our influences are of great variety: A humanistic basis, a holistic/integral way of education according to Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, concepts of systematic consulting, brain research as well as our role models in innovative education practices such as the Team Academy in Finland or the Chaospilots in Denmark.
We beliefe in procedures to support and further responsible thoughts and therewith advance reasonable action in order to develop and realise socially, economically and ecologically altered living conditions.
Our workshop participants have various worldviews and values. We appreciate this variety and individually work out what gives each and every single person the power to act according to their values.
